How it works in Utah
Pups can sit on a restaurant patio only where the health department has approved it. In Salt Lake County, pups stay on a leash and off the chairs, and they can have water but no food or treats. Most patios close or get chilly in winter, so call ahead.

Your local agent
Hi, I'm Delia. Ash and Ace are my pups.
I help people buy and sell homes in Salt Lake City, North Salt Lake, Farmington and Utah County. If you are moving and your pup is part of the family, your pup gets a say in the house too.
Moving with a pup?
Three things I check before you fall in love with a house
- 1. The pet rules. Many condos and HOAs limit how many pets you can have, how big they can be, or which breeds. I read those rules before you write an offer, not after.
- 2. The yard. Is it fenced, how tall is the fence, and can you add one? Some HOAs say no.
- 3. The walk. How far is the nearest park or trail that welcomes pups? This page is where I start.
